We’re in the planning stages right now for RE BarCamp Boston 2011. Currently we are working on bringing together all the details for this event which looks to be scheduled for June 22nd. Keep your eye on this site for updates.

We all know the parties are where the real networking takes place at conferences. So, for RE BarCamp Boston we’ve put together a nice schedule for you party people.

There’s going to be a meetup at Charley’s Saloon on Newbury Street, downstairs, at 6:30 PM. It’s just a quick 3 mile ride from the Renaissance Hotel.

Friday Night (June 12)

The official RE BarCamp Boston after party is being held by Zipvo. We’re holding it at the same venue so there’s no need to pay for additional parking or to even leave the building. Just enjoy BarCamp then enjoy a great party! Open bar, food, great music, and awesome people, and a big announcement from the Zipvo boys. Don’t miss this one!

The venue for RE BarCamp Boston is in a great location in downtown Boston. It’s a 2 minute walk from parking garages and a 9 minute walk from the Renaissance Hotel. Below are maps / directions for parking and the hotel.

Parking

When you leave the parking garage, go left on Necco Street. When you get to the end take a left onto A Street. The venue is at 319 A Street on the right side.

When you leave the Renaissance go right. You will be on Congress Street. Stay on Congress Street until you see A Street on your left. Go down A Street to 319 A Street on the left.

How much does sponsorship cost?

In the spirit of equality that BarCamp is founded on there is only one level of sponsorship at $250. This money will be used to make the event free to attend. Your generous donation will be used to secure the venue for the event, provide a meal and refreshments (perhaps some early morning coffee), print badges and t-shirts, secure internet access and any AV needs, support the promotion of the event (we want to do quite a bit of traditional marketing to reach individuals who aren’t already in the social media space). Because REBarcamp Boston is a non-profit event, all of the proceeds will be used for the benefit of the event and the attendees.

What do you get in exchange for your sponsorship?

You’ll receive recognition on the REBarCamp Boston web site and at the day of the event on BarCamp materials such as the t-shirts, badgets and signage.¬† You’ll be recognized at the conference opening for your support. You’re entitled to pass out a premium item or have one sign at the conference as well.
