RE Bar Camp Boston does a charity iPad drawing each year. The proceeds from the iPad raffle will go to a local (New England Region) charity.
Last year we were able to provide www.OperationAmericanSoldier.com with a check for $1,125, which was raised from the raffle. They were the good neighbor winner so it was a given that they would be our charity of choice. This year we don’t have an obvious charity staring us in the face so, we are coming to you to pick that charity. But there is a twist.
Since we are still looking for sponsorships to make the the great event that it is, we are asking everyone to reach out to potential sponsors to raise the money necessary to put this event on. Sponsors are what make this event free to the attendees.
Now that twist – the person that raises the most sponsorship money will be able to pick the charity that they want this money to go to. Will your charity be the one to benefit from your hard work?
Types of sponsors can range from all aspects of real estate, social media and technology. Bank, Mortgage Company, Law Firm, Inspector, Title Insurance, Mover, Website Company, Local Association, Real Estate Company, Real Estate School etc. The list is endless.
