- Register now: RE BarCamps fill up quickly, and with the energy, creativity and knowledge you’ll get out of RE BarCamp, you want to make sure you’ll be able to get in!
- Think about the experiences you’ve had or a failure you’ve experienced: Can your story help someone else? What tools do you find helpful or useful to your clients or business? Be open to learning what others have to share and share what others want to learn!
- Check out the list of attendees: Anyone you’re dying to meet? If so, register already! Then plan to meet them in person. Make sure you meet them at your first opportunity.
- Make sure you have the following:
- Laptop: you can blog, take notes, or connect with the apps that will be useful for your business.
- Business Cards: you may have traditional business cards, an SMS business card, or the Bump App – take your pick, just make sure you can enable others to connect with you after the event.
- Power strip / chargers: you can more easily get access to an outlet if you can provide others with outlets.
- Materials: If you’re planning to present, don’t forget your slide deck, screenshots, or white board markers. Different RE BarCamps have different presentation environments and you may want to be prepared for any type of presentation environment.
